As a father of two children, Greg saw a need for a single source of information on resources, events and activities for families. Since then, his family has grown with the addition of another son, and the mission of KidsLinked has grown, too, to include actively organizing and promoting family-friendly events in addition to providing information on activities, events, deals and discounts, and resources that make family life easier and more fun. The KidsLinked team is proud to be part of this mission! Congratulations, Greg!
Each year since the program began in 1993, Columbus Business First has made a call for nominations. Nominations are taken for people in Central Ohio, under the age of 40, who have not previously won the award. A panel of six judges individually reviewed each entry and score nominees on four criteria: reason for nomination, professional development, awards and recognitions and community involvement. The scores are combined and the highest 40 scores determine the honorees. Business First will produce a Forty Under 40 supplement for its May 25, 2012 issue. The supplement highlights each of the honorees with a photo and some personal facts and achievements. Honorees get to participate in a photo shoot and meet at a private reception, and then will receive their award at a dinner on May 23. Advance copies of the special publication is available for event attendees.
